KET Tanzania (& Holland)
Two foundations, twice KET, one goal!

KET stands for Kibo Education Trust. A Tanzanian foundation, existing since 2004. The foundation started with funding the school fee of orphans in the Kibosho region in Tanzania. Since 2008, KET Holland was founded. This Dutch foundation supports her Tanzanian counterpart with funding and by organizing group trips with volunteers to help in Tanzania.

In 2009 the foundation started with the import of useful school supplies from Holland to Tanzania. In 2010 the foundation expanded her tasks once again with the start of the build of the Kiboscho Vocational Training Center in Umbwe, Tanzania. KET Holland supports this build with funds and with voluntering Dutch builders, all volunteers pay their own trip and stay and make a big donation to the foundation so your donation will not be used for them.

The Kiboscho Vocational Training Center is necessary for the following reasons:

  • School orphans so they can take care of their own future
  • Support the countryside with a high quality school
  • Providing good education, housing and food to over 600 students and staff
  • A durable and low maintenance school
  • A true model school for the entire country!

The school will be finished by 2017, and will give 600 children at the same time a good opportunity in life! If you like this good cause, please help us with your donation! We’ll make sure every cent will be put to best use! Donate with Paypal »»
